Serdar Aslan talks about his study on Friday sermons
Former FAU EZIRE member Dr Serdar Aslan provided insights in the ZDF program Forum am Freitag (German) into a study he conducted together with Dr Jörn Thielmann on Friday sermons in mosques in Germany. For his research, Aslan analysed over two thousand sermon texts covering a period of around twenty years. The theologian focused on the major Turkish-origin associations and examined in particular which topics were addressed in the sermons.
