The EZIRE welcomes a new associate member: Dominik Müller from the University of Zurich

With Dominik Müller, M. A., the EZIRE has expanded its expertise in the field of methods of social anthropology. The ethnologist, Islamic and political scientist, who works at the Department for Social Anthropology and Empirical Cultural Studies at the University of Zurich, has been enriching the academic exchange within the EZIRE since the beginning of the year with his findings from his work on the negotiation of Islamic authority and the production and dissemination of religious knowledge in everyday life by Muslim organizations in the European context. In particular, he brings practical experience from his research stays in Central Asia, Russia and Turkey, but also his research in Switzerland, as well as his well-founded methodological knowledge in the field of ethnological field research.
