Mathias Rohe was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Ankara

Mathias Rohe, founder and director of the EZIRE, was awarded an honorary doctorate on 27.09.2018 at a ceremony at Ankara University.

Prof. Dr. Dr. hc. Rohe was awarded for his excellent scientific contributions to intercultural and international projects in his fields. Especially the merits in the dialogue between cultures, people, countries and religions were emphasized. The honorary doctorate was handed over by the ambassador of the German Embassy, Dr. Ing. Rotenberg, as a sign of appreciation of the positive bilateral relations between Germany and Turkey.
