Issue 2, 2018 of the the Salzburger Theological Journal includes an article by EZIRE associate Hüseyin Çiçek titled “The AKP’s Islamic-Conservative Populism”.

The journal, which focuses on systematic scientific questions, dedicates this issue to the main topic of “right-wing populism and religion”. Aside from Çiçek’s article of islamic populism and a political party, other contributors write about populist phenomena within the other two monotheistic world religions and theoretical introductions to the psychology and cause of populism.
